DEPRESSION

SYMPTOMS

- I feel sad, depressed, or irritable or guilty.

- I can’t concentrate or make decisions.

- I believe people would be better off without me.

- I am seriously considering suicide.

- I get little or no pleasure from life.

- I have more bad than good moods.

- I have no sexual desire.

- I excessively blame myself.

- I feel hopeless about the future.

- I have experienced periods of an unusually elevated mood, like a "high," accompanied by racing thoughts, little need for sleep and out-of-control behavior (such as risky sex, overspending.)

- I have periods of excessively irritable/angry moods, accompanied by arguments, or breaking things.

- People tell me I drink too much.

- My appetite has changed.
