WORK EXPERIENCE:
During my time at Syracuse, I worked for the University Counseling and Rape Center providing therapy and prevention and education programs to the University population.
Prior
to my working with INTROSPECT, I had the opportunity to work in a variety
of treatment settings. I worked as a therapist at Sliver Springs Residential
Treatment Facility, providing therapy to children ages 6-12 who experienced
major trauma and struggled with mental health challenges.
I also worked with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Child and Adolescent
Psychiatry Department, providing psychiatric and psychological services
to adolescents in detention at the Youth Study Center. In addition to
my past experience in residential treatment, I also worked in an outpatient
center with the Jewish Family and Children Services, providing therapy
to children, adolescents and adults.
TREATMENT APPROACH:
In therapy, I have experience utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including, psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and crisis intervention.
